For those of you who read the
ignorant article in the Frederick News Post, you
can rest assured that as always, the well-being
of the animals in our store is our
top priority. As our friends, you know that we
are in this business because we love animals.
We would love to have one of our store animals
go home with you if you have been thinking about
adding a new friend to the family. We also want
to assure you that all of the pets we do not sell
before we close will be moving to other pet stores
that are independently owned by people we know
and respect. At this time we have only 5 puppies.
By Monday we will have found homes for each of
those cuties. We would NEVER warehouse animals,
overwhelm animal control, or (as some uneducated
people have suggested) euthanize any of our furry,
feathered, or finned friends. Unlike the Humane
Society we are concerned not only for the dogs,
but for each one of our animals. We have enjoyed
an ongoing working relationship with the Frederick
County Animal Control, and are hoping that they
will be able to use many of the supplies we will
no longer need, such as cages, pet food, bedding,
and toys. We hope to see all of you in the next
few days. Thanks to all of you who have stopped
in to say goodbye- we will miss seeing you and
hearing about the friends that you got from us!
Thank
you Frederick for all your support!
